Apparitions - Our Lady of Guadalupe, is the Blessed Virgin Mary, associated with a series of apparitions in 1531 to Juan Diego, an indigenous peasant, on Tepeyac hill near Mexico City. Mary appeared to Juan Diego request him to build a church. Mary Identified herself as the Virgin Mother, Mary. Juan Diego went to his bishop, Juan de Zumarraga. His Bishop told him we need a significant sign to build a church for the Virgin Mother. When Mary appeared to Diego the second time, he told her the bishop needed a sign from her to build her church. Mary told him to gather Castilian roses (unseasonable at the time) from the hilltop and present them to the bishop. Diego found and gathered the roses and placed them in his tilma (blanket). When Diego showed the roses to his bishop, the image of the Virgin Mother’s image appeared on the tilma, confirming her identity and the significant sign or miracle. The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is rich in symbolism, blending Christian and Aztec imagery. She is often depicted with a sunburst, moon, and angel, and her clothing includes elements that were significant in Aztec culture. The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City is a major pilgrimage site, drawing millions of visitors annually. She is the patron saint of Mexico, the Americas, and the unborn. The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated on December 12th, and is a Holy Day of Obligation in Mexico. Our Lady of Lourdes - Bernadette Soubirous, a 14-year-old peasant girl, first saw the vision on February 11, 1858, while gathering firewood with her sister and a friend. The Lady, described as young and beautiful, appeared in a grotto at Massabielle. She instructed Bernadette to return for fifteen days and eventually revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception. Our Lady emphasized prayer of healing for all people everywhere. She also requested that a chapel be built at the grotto. On February 25th, during the seventh apparition, Mary instructed Bernadette to drink from the spring. Unable to find one, Bernadette dug in the mud, and a spring began to flow. The spring of healing in Lourdes France is a pilgrimage site. It is located in the Grotto of Massablelle. Pilgrims visit the spring to drink, and or bathe or take home to provide spiritual healing and grace. The story of Our Lady of Loreto is centered around the Holy House of Nazareth, which is believed to be the home where the Blessed Virgin Mary was born, where the Annunciation occurred, and where she lived with Jesus and Joseph. Here's the traditional narrative: Ancient tradition: The Holy House, which had been converted into a church by the Apostles after Jesus' ascension, was a sacred place for early Christians in Nazareth. Threat of destruction: In the 13th century, as the Crusaders were losing control of the Holy Land, there was fear that the house would be destroyed by enemies of Christianity. Miraculous transportation: According to tradition, the house was miraculously transported, first by angels, from Nazareth to Tersatto (now in Croatia) in 1291 and then to Loreto, Italy, on December 10, 1294. Apparition of Mary: In Loreto, a hermit named Paul reported that the Virgin Mary had appeared to him, explaining the history of the Holy House and its relocation. Investigations and evidence: Investigations were conducted, and it is reported that the measurements of the house in Loreto match the remaining foundations in Nazareth, and the stones and soil used in the house are consistent with those found in Nazareth from that period. Establishment of the shrine: A basilica was built around the Holy House in Loreto, which became a significant pilgrimage site dedicated to Our Lady. Patroness of aviators: Due to the legend of the "flying house" carried by angels, Our Lady of Loreto was named the patron saint of aviators by Pope Benedict XV in 1920. of the sea Our Lady, Star of the Sea Symbolic Significance: In ancient times, sailors relied on the stars, particularly the North Star (also known as Stella Maris in the Middle Ages), to guide them safely through the vast ocean. Just as the North Star remained fixed and reliable, Mary is seen as a steadfast guide and protector for Christians navigating the turbulent waters of life. The title "Star of the Sea" evokes the idea that Mary shines as a beacon of hope, leading us through difficulties and dangers towards salvation. This symbolism is beautifully expressed in the words of St. Bernard of Clairvaux, who urged those facing temptations and trials to "look to the star, call on Mary". Devotion and Patronage: Our Lady, Star of the Sea, has been a popular devotion for centuries. She is considered the patroness of seafarers and Catholic missions, with many churches and institutions bearing her name, particularly in coastal areas. The Apostleship of the Sea (AOS), also known as Stella Maris, provides support to seafarers globally. The Feast Day of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, is celebrated on August 15th, coinciding with the Feast of the Assumption. This day holds special significance for those who work at sea and in coastal regions. Hymns and prayers like "Ave Maris Stella" are part of this devotion. The story of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, centers on the development of her title and the devotion to her as a spiritual guide and protector for those facing the challenges of life, particularly those at sea

Auriel Grace If you have read my Lucy Prophet books, you know about spirit guardians. Lucy has a lot of spirit guardians living on Stellar Ranch. Lucy and the humans who live within Stellar Ranch leave offerings all over the ranch to the Fae Folk, pebbles, seashells, flowers, statues, they tie ribbons and beads and ribbons in the trees. In doing this they are acknowledging the others who help them with the success of Stellar Ranch. You can check out those books on my website under the Author tab. The Fae Folk appear in cultures all over the world. Native Americans - Jogahoh - Iroquois Nunnupi - Commanche Yunwi Tsunami - - Cherokee Asian Cultures - Al Ana (witch or Djinn), Hulu Jing and Kitsune (Fox Faeries) Kodak (tree spirits) Mogwai All Fae are connected to nature. They take on aspects of nature they are connected to. This is why we as humans leave offerings in nature to appease and thank these nature spirits for helping us. In the past Christian Priests demonized Mother Nature. They preached that anything other than the church is bad. So let’s break that habit. There is nothing to fear in nature. There are natural places and plants we do need to be cautious about. If there is a place in nature you want to avoid, avoid it. Respect the inner guidance you are feeling. There are plants and trees that can grow in the wild and gardens that are harmful to humans and animals. Be prepared to be around them or avoid them. I always use gardening gloves as I have allergies. Gloves help me so I can be in the garden or in nature. I always have some kind of gloves with me in case I want to harvest seeds or touch plants I am not sure about. Let’s talk about Faeries now. Sylphs - Air Faeries Undines - Water Faeries Salamanders - Fire Faeries Gnomes - Earth Faeries Sylphs are the faeries that have wings, they are the faeries who fly, pixies and dragons are Sylphs or air elementals. They control the air - wind. Undines are the faeries who are water Fae, mermaids, kelpies, nymphs. They influence water, rain, snow, ice etc. Gnomes are the fairies who help with earth. They will inspire you to garden, or bring plants into your home. They are protectors of forests, plants, gardens and they like to hid their treasures. Salamanders are fire Fae. Salamanders encourage transformation or high vibrational change. They look like salamanders, lizards, dragons. Think about your home, the environment where you live, what kind of Fae do you interact with? The best time to connect with the Fae folk is during sunrise. Sit quietly outside, relax. You will see them out of the corner of your eye, be still and patient as your awareness expands. This is a great way to connect with the natural world. If you have my book I am Psychic, Not Telepathic I wrote a chapter on Faeries. Read the chapter and do the homework to help you connect to the faeries around your home and your Faery godmother. Our Faery Godmother’s help clear the way so we can accomplish our goals. They remind us to give and receive unconditionally, to keep our hearts open and aligned with the energy of love. I posted on social media my faery bowls this week. These bowls live on the second shelf of my altar. I add to the bowls as I am inspired. You can do something fun and creative too in a special place for your Fae folk. Remember the Fae have curious sense of humor. If things go missing in your home, ask for them back, make sure to give a time you want your possessions back. That is important. The month of May is a great month to make those great habits to connect to nature, garden and decorate or create spaces for the Fae that live near your home. The more you enjoy nature, the more you will connect with the Fae folk.
Have fun connecting too and creating with the Fae Folk! Have a wonderful week! Keep your heart open and aligned with the energy of LOVE! Remember Pluto is in Aquarius. This is a time for change. History is in the making right now. Some of you are afraid, don’t be. Take a breath, remember your strength. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, the USA was born, France got rid of its monarchy and much more. If you want to change something, now is the time to do it. Be smart about the changes you want to implement. Make sure to get advice. Remember as you make changes the effect it will have on others, be thoughtful, considerate. Choose wisely. Pluto in Aquarius will last for the next 20 years or so. We are here to witness what will happen. What will you accomplish in the next 20 years? Sacred Water All water sources are sacred. The human body is predominantly water. comprising about 50% to 70% of its body weight. I love water, driving over bridges is one of my favorite things to do. Just the feel of the water beneath me gives me comfort. I used to purposely drive over or beside water when I lived in Florida. It is refreshing and invigorating. I have always lived close to a natural water source in all the places I have lived. Water is an important life force in our lives. People always gravitate to water in history, living close to the source. Building their cities close to or around water sources. There are water witches who are able to let us know the best place to place a well. When I lived in Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County, Colorado, the people living in the area decided they did not want flouride in the water. We learned the fluoride in the water was a by product and not a good source for anything. So we voted and pushed to have fluoride taken out of our water. Many counties had done or were starting to do this in Colorado at the time. Now other states have done this as well. Has yours? For many indigenous cultures, water is sacred. It isn’t just a resource. It is living or divine aspect of their Creator(s). All over the world there are stories about water gods/goddesses connected to sources of water. Here is the US there are many sacred springs. Here in North Carolina there is a water source Named - Hot Springs. It is located in Hot Springs, Madison County, North Carolina. It is near Asheville. Native Americans, specifically the Cherokee , were the first to discover and use the hot springs, seeing them as healing and sacred. The conducted their spiritual ceremonies at the springs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Springs,_North_Carolina#:~:text=Hot%20Springs%20is%20located%20at,of%20the%20southeastern%20United%20States. Pagosa Springs is hone to the deepest geothermal hot springs. The Anasazi, Navajo, Ute and Apache used the hot springs - their ‘sacred ground’. I learned it was a place where all the tribes used it as a gathering place. No fighting while visiting the area. It is very stinky, sulfur springs. In fact one of the Ute Grandmothers told me Pagosa actually meant stinky, not healing. The waters may be stinky, but they are very relaxing and can ease sore muscles. I encourage you to find your closest healing or sacred water sight and visit it. There are natural cold springs as well. These places in nature are very special, healing in a very peaceful way. If you can bring with you an offering of flowers. This is where we get the idea of throwing pennies in fountain. People would bring gifts to the water as offerings for their prayers, thank you gifts, etc Reiki/Energy Work - Mikao Usui - Dr Usui - Helped us understand what Universal Life Force is - connection to the Creators Light. I use Reiki everyday on myself and others. For those of you who are Reiki attuned, you might know what we will do next. When I taught Reiki, The first lesson was infusing water with light. We use the first symbol you are taught. Cho Ku Rei - the light switch. Get you glass of water so we can do this together. Fill a glass of water Hold it in both hands For the Reiki Peeps use the Cho-Ku- Rei symbol. For others, visualize light moving through the water you are about to drink. You will feel the energy settle when the water is charged. Drink the water. You are drinking water purified by Universal Life Force. How does it taste? I have a brita pitcher, when I fill it, I light it up with energy. When I get a new filter for my pitcher, I light it up with energy. When you do this you are drinking charged water from Universal Life Force. Have a beautiful week! Remember keep your heart open and aligned with the energy of LOVE! Many look at karma as sin or as a punishment. It is not. Only our guilt makes what we have done in our lives into punishment. What have you done in this life that requires punishment? What have you done that requires reward? Why do humans think this way? As children we are taught to ‘be good’ or ‘mind your manners’. We are taught to be the best at what we choose to do. Did you know having good manners means you are respecting yourself and the people around you? Goo manners, good energy, good karma. What i am saying is Karma is constant energy flowing around us, it is what we make of our lives. How do you live your life? We bring in our Karma from previous lives when we are born. It gives us an opportunity to learn and grow. Does that mean we have to give up stuff we like, because we were a crazed maniac in several lifetimes? No. Maybe in this lifetime we decided to help people. Karma teaches us many sides of an octahedron! It teaches us what it is like to have many experiences, to live out these experiences close to our hearts. Karma teaches us to be easy one ourselves and others, harsh living or punishment isn’t necessary. It only causes imbalance with in you. Once we realize this life becomes easier to live, it becomes fulfilling. When I do readings, I am also teaching you about how you can be easy on yourself, to enjoy your life or assist you with getting to the place of joy. We live in a very challenging and competitive world. There are people having nervous breakdowns because they do not achieve the heights they feel they must to be happy. Challenging and competition is good. It keeps us motivated to bring in our goals. Too much of it can create chaos. Do not loose yourself in that chaos. Remember to take breaks to reassess what you truly desire. Accomplish that and see if you want to continue your growth. Life should not be exhausting. If you are exhausted reassess your goals. Okay so how can you balance some personal Karma to clear your heart and mind of nagging yourself? You can do it yourself! First, draw out a timeline of your life, starting with your first memory. As you go through your memories, you will see/feel some of the situations that you know created chaos, made your or yourself uncomfortable or hurt others. Stop at these memories and forgive yourself, push that energy our into the universe. This helps with karma and clearing your energy field so you can think and respond in a good way to the situations that happen in your life. Doing that exercise will help you take responsibility for your decisions you made and are making now. No blaming others for your life and how it is. You created your life, if you don’t like it, changes it. Your life is yours alone. Live your life to its fullest as you see fit. Remember not everyone thinks, feels or will react the way you do. Not everyone will see life as you do and it is ok. All of us have our own way and we learn and live in our own way and time. That’s what makes earth so awesome to be alive on. As you clear out your life through your timeline you will feel lighter, for releasing those troublesome burdens, your temperament will soften and you will start to understand more of the people you are connected to and the world around you. Have a beautiful week! Keep your heart open and aligned with the energy of LOVE! Auriel Grace |
