This year I decided to start talking about ‘new age’ concepts, marketing and vocabulary that doesn’t mean anything. I am not a ‘new age’ girl. I am a grown up spiritual advisor. My friend Anissa inspired this idea and I align with it. Let's talk about Angel Numbers, Numerology and Portals Angel numbers are recurring, repeating number sequences example 111. They are believed to be divine messages, guidance, or confirmation from spiritual guides or angels. Often seen by daily life on clocks, prices, or license plates, they signal alignment, offering support or urging personal growth. Here is a chart with the meanings of 'Angel Numbers'. Angel numbers were a specific concept popularized by author Doreen Virtue in the early 2000s, who claimed to receive these numerical messages as "downloads" from angels. The "Download" Virtue claimed to have received the concept in the mid-1990s, suggesting that angels use repeating numbers on clocks, phones, and receipts to communicate. Our spirit guides, angels, ascended masters use all kind of ways to contact us, give us signs, comfort and more. They will give signs that resonate with the individual they are communicating with. The term 'angel numbers' is modern, it is rooted in ancient numerology, such as the beliefs of the Greek philosopher Pythagoras. The concept gained massive popularity through social media and spiritual blogs. The creator of the term, Doreen Virtue, has since renounced her work in this area. She is now a Born Again Christian. Numerology originated thousands of years ago across ancient civilizations, including Egypt, Babylonia, India, and China, to find mystical meaning in numbers. While ancient in root, modern Western numerology is heavily based on the 6th-century BCE Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who believed numbers were the foundational vibrations of the universe. Pythagoras is the "father of numerology". He taught that numbers 1-9 have unique vibrations that govern the universe. 1 - Leadership, New Beginnings or Cycles 2- Harmony 3- Creativity & Being Noticed 4 - Relationship 5- Freedom 6- Domestication 7- Intuition, Spirituality 8-Power & Money 9- Universal Wisdom, Completion The Babylonians used numerology alongside early astrology. Egyptians used numerical symbolism in temples and construction. Indian Vedic numerology stems from the Vedas, focusing on planetary influence. 'Numerology portals' are defined by repeating dates 1/1, 2/2, 11/11 or sequential numbers. They are viewed as moments allowing for faster manifestation of intentions, remember to check the numbers and the astrology for these days to make sure you are truly aligning with these days. If you look at each month and their corresponding sequential days go with the theme of each month. Example - 1/1 New cycles, take up the reigns of your life. The days are doubling up the resonance. I don't call them 'portals'. A portal is an opening or gateway. Pay attention to what happens in all walks of life during these days. Pay attention to the numbers. Numbers don't lie, they guide as a divination tool. Have a beautiful week! Stay safe, keep your heart open and aligned with the energy of Love! Auriel Grace
