Ascended Master Maitreya

'Ascended Master is a being who has completed their spiritual evolution, transcended the cycle of rebirth, and now serves humanity from a higher plane of existence

Buddha is a title - Buddha means - awakened one  - or - enlightened one. It’s a title that refers to someone who has attained enlightenment, not a proper name.

Maitreya, in Buddhist traditions, is the future Buddha who is currently a Bodhisattva residing in the Tushita Heaven.  

Bodhisattva - Sanskrit ‘awakened being,’ signifying their enlightened state. These figures are often revered as living deities, known for boundless compassion.

Tushita Heaven, also known as the ‘Joyous Realm’ or 'Heaven of Satisfaction’, is a celestial realm in Buddhist cosmology, specifically one of the six heavens in the desire realm. It is a place where devas (divine beings) reside, and notably, it’s where Bodhisattvas (future Buddhas) reside before taking their final rebirth into the world to become a future Buddha.  This is where the future Buddha Maitreya currently resides before his final rebirth. 

Maitreya is prophesied to return to Earth to teach the dharma when the teachings of the current Buddha, Gautama Buddha, have faded -  Maitreya is also known as the "friendly one" or "loving one". 

Dharma - the nature of reality regarded as a universal truth taught by Buddha. -  example - Personal conduct, social roles - how you represent yourself.

Maitreya is often called the World Teacher, signifying his role in guiding humanity towards spiritual enlightenment and a more harmonious way of life. Maitreya emphasizes his role on inspiring humanity to create a new era based on sharing, compassion, understanding, justice and love.   

Maitreya’s Teachings - Universal love, interconnectedness of all living beings, a blue print for better living. Maitreya inspires us to be kind, compassionate, loving, understanding and to stay curious, learn and have uplifting experiences. Having different kinds of experiences helps us with wisdom.  This is what transforms your life.

Maitreya reminds us through universal love for all beings everywhere we achieve enlightenment.  As each person makes the decision to be love, we become wise and discerning.  Remember you are the light, shine brightly.

Now when I speak about love, I am talking about an encompassing love, accepting others for who they are. Assisting as you are able. Remember not everyone wants assistance. The best thing you can do is wrap them in a pink blanket of love. The pink blanket is the Creators Love. 

Conduct yourself for the highest good. It is easy to express love. Love is our core and what we are created from. 

Homework - 
We did homework in the spring with our Mala's using the word 'Flourish'. Some of you let me know using your mala and saying the word Flourish with each bead helped to uplift you. 
Now here is your opportunity to use your mala for the next 21 days sating the word Om with each bead. 

Meditation - Mala - Mantra - Om

The sound Om is the sacred  vibration of the Universe, all other vibrations are able to manifest. Using the word or sound Om can help uplift you, transform you, expand you. 
Try it and see how you are uplifted and take note of how your days get better!
