Gems, Minerals, Crystals

I love gems and minerals. I have them all over my home. I pick them up carry them around, use them during readings and energy work. My favorite way of purchasing gems and mineral is from going to the shows. It is such a great feeling to walk into a show with every kind of gem or mineral, ask questions about the stones. No gemstone is alike. You can look at a box of quartz crystals and see although they may be quartz crystals none of them look alike. I encourage you to go to a gem and mineral show, ask questions, look around. I know you will find a ‘rock’ you will love. 

Apophyllite - Reiki Stone 
Form & Structure - tetragonal system, forms in cubic masses of small faceted crystals or in pyramid shapes. 
Color - pale green, clear, white, yellow or violet

I use Apophyllite when I do Reiki Attunements, I keep it on my desk for support during sessions. Apophyllite is great for healing heart ache & heartbreak. It has a very light energy. In other words when using apophyllite you are not going to feel over whelmed, you will feel supported.

Pyrite is found in Lapis Lazuli, Quartz Crystal and other metamorphic rocks.  Pyrite needs to be kept cool so it doesn’t become brittle. 
Form & Structure - Cubic, octahedral forms, often massive pieces or granular clusters, nodular and inter grown with each other. 
Color -  Brassy yellow
