Self Confidence vs Self Importance 

All of us want to feel good, confident, safe, loved. 
Many times, we don’t consider our worth, our value. We settle into situations because we feel like we have too. You don’t have to settle for anything less than what you want. For Real! Know your worth, you always have a choice. Choose well for yourself. 
Looking outside of yourself for understanding your importance it a waste of energy. 
Keeping up with the Jones or Influencers is a waste of time and energy. Stop wasting your energy.  Be true to yourself.
Self-confidence is a quiet, steady, trust in yourself. It’s knowing who you are, honoring your strengths and believing you can handle what comes your way, even when you don’t have all the answers. Trusting your intuition and inner guidance. You feel worthy of love, success, and respect. You make choices aligned with your values, your worth. You are okay saying yes or no without guilt. You recover when things don’t go as planned, you are flexible in your strategies.
I used to feel guilty when I said no or didn’t agree. Now I don’t. I don’t allow others to affect how I feel about or treat myself. What you see with me is what you get. Its okay of you like or dislike me. It took time for me to get here, I am good with that. 
This is what self confidence looks like energetically:
A balanced solar plexus  - yellow (personal power) You are willing
A grounded root chakra  - red (safety and stability) Your foundation is strong and flexible. 
A clear heart  - pink/green (self-love without conditions)  Your heart is open and aligned with the energy of love.
When self-confidence is strong, you don’t seek constant validation. You attract healthier, equal exchange of energy relationships. You set loving boundaries for yourself and others. You are calm, trust your path, even when others don’t understand you.
Self-confidence is learned, nurtured, grown, be present, create positive habits. 
Self-importance comes from insecurity, not strength.
Needing to be seen as special, right, or superior. Always comparing yourself to others, what they look like, how much they have, how much better their life is etc. You take things personally. You are defensive, ego reactions, or needing control, fear. Energetically, self-importance is loud and fragile. It depends on outside approval to survive.
Self-confidence: “I trust myself.”
Self-importance: “I need you to see me as important.”
One is rooted in self-trust. The other is rooted in fear of not being enough.
Self-confidence flows from alignment with your soul. 
Self-importance is the ego trying to protect itself.
Truly confident people listen more than they speak. They don’t need to dominate or convince anyone. Confident people allow others to shine. 
Self-importance fades, self-love grows.

Find your confidence through presence, self-love, confidence and the love coming from within you.
