Touch & Distance Healing

Touch healing is an ancient practice spanning thousands of years, rooted in early Egyptian, Greek, Chinese, and Japanese traditions that utilized hand-on-body techniques for physical and spiritual wellness. 

Ancient Egypt & Asia: Documents from ~1552 B.C. suggest the "laying-on of hands" was used for healing. Chinese, Indian, and Japanese traditions for thousands of years have focused on directing energy to restore health.

The Greeks used therapeutic touch in temples to Hippocrates, with legends claiming it could heal ailments.

Early massage therapy, used to knead, touch, and soothe, likely predates written history and was used in ancient Egypt, as seen in tomb paintings

The "Laying on of Hands": Historically, this practice was used in religious and folk contexts throughout medieval Europe to treat various disorders.

These methods are rooted in the belief that practitioners can influence a patient's energy field (biofield) to promote healing.

Historically and clinically, these techniques have been shown to help relax the nervous system, reduce stress, manage pain, and foster a sense of compassionate care

After having any type of energy healing please wait three days to allow your energy field to balance out. 

Many people ask me if the color of their energy field changes. It does, it’s like a mood ring, it will change with your attitudes, moods, health and well being, if you are focused on accomplishing a goal, when you are meditating. 

How can you see your aura or energy field?

Have an aura picture taken.

Or you can stand in front of a mirror in a darkened room. Look at yourself through your peripheral vision. Look down at your nose, facing the mirror. You will glimpse color, sparkles, orbs. That is all part of your energy field. 

It is the same way with seeing other people energy fields. Look above them, when you start to see colors look fully at them. Focusing on seeing their aura or energy field.  You are looking, not staring. 

When looking at or for chakras do the same thing.

Go Vertical 

Going vertical means you are grounded, centered and in alignment with source. When you are vertical energy is moving from the earth through you and all around you. You are present and able to participate positively in your life. 

When you ask me about energy healing, I always tell you anyone can do energy work. You don’t need reiki attunements or anyone’s blessing.  I recommend you working with energy first. It will help you with discerning intent, yours and others. 

When I started doing energy work, I watched and learned. I learned about crystals and how they can help. I received my Reiki attunements and I really felt the difference in the flow of energy after the attunements. 

If you think of yourself as an empty vessel when you start your energy session, taking nice even breaths with the intention of filling yourself with light, with your hands facing each other or in prayer position, you will feel an energy ball form in your hand. When the ball feels big enough, place the ball in the core of your being. Take note as to how you feel.

The energy you are filling yourself up with is Universal Life force. You can do this with or without attunements. Do it everyday keeping track of how you feel afterward. 

You have tiny chakras in your hands and feet. When we created energy balls last week, you might have felt your hands tingle. That’s your chakras activating for energy work so let’s create those energy balls again and place them in the core of our physical bodies.

You can create energy balls for your family friends and pets and place them within their core as well. 

Make sure to keep track of how you feel when creating and placing energy balls. 

When running energy for yourself, use your intuition as to where to start. I always start energy sessions at the feet. Out feet take our weight, walk or run. So starting at the feel always made sense to me. I always want to help alleviate the tiredness of the feet and legs, especially the knees. So I start by pushing energy up through the feet, legs, core, arms, neck and head. I may stop in different areas to add energy to those areas. 

Some of you have had sessions with me virtually and in person. Both type of sessions are powerful. Distance healing is a real thing. Before I became a Reiki Master Teacher, I was doing distance work. 

I wrapped people in pink blankets of love - Visualize the intended person wrapped up in a pink fuzzy blanket which represents the Creators Love. This is healing in itself and can bring relief to who ever you are wrapping up. You can do this with your pets too.

I use other colors as well, I use lots of blue colors for cooling a hot spot or infection, for example. 

Pray for people. Prayer works. I have seen miracles happen through prayer. 

Embracing your loved one is very healing. 

Try my chakra meditation, take note as to how you feel after the meditation. Journey meditations are different ways of releasing and pulling in energy. Try other meditations as well to help uplift you and release your goo & cooties. 

By practicing these few ideas it will help you understand and keep you balanced. It will help you understand what you put out into the word comes back to you. It helps you understand what you think you manifest. It will help you with practicing love and presence. The more of us who stay in a place of love and presence we make better choices for ourselves and our environment and we are able to discern what is for our highest and best good.  other peoples energy will not effect us as we move through our lives.
